Dear Friends of Grace in Action,
We are writing to share important news regarding a transition at Grace in Action. Our Executive Director, Edward Johnson, has made the decision to resign from his role. After faithfully serving since December 2021, Edward believes that God is calling him in a new direction and into a new adventure.
Over the past three years, Edward has led with deep compassion, consistently offering one-on-one care and building meaningful relationships with our guests. His heart for the most vulnerable in our community and his steadfast commitment to Christ-centered service have left a lasting impact on all of us.
As a Board, we are incredibly grateful for Edward’s faithful leadership. His presence, wisdom, and the love he showed to each guest will be sorely missed. We support him as he follows God’s call and wish him all the best in the journey ahead.
In this interim season, dedicated members of our Board and volunteer team are stepping up to carry out Edward’s duties. We are prayerfully seeking God’s will for the future leadership of Grace in Action and discerning the next steps for the role of Executive Director. Grace in Action’s ministry will continue without interruption, and we are excited and hopeful about the future that God has in store for us.
Thank you for your continued support during this time of transition. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership remain vital as we continue to serve our community in the name of Jesus.
