Grace in Action is a Christ-centered ministry in Yolo County dedicated to serving homeless and low-income individuals through compassionate care, spiritual support, and connections to local resources. In 2025, the organization provided regular indoor lunch services twice a week at Davis United Methodist Church on Mondays and Pole Line Road Baptist Church on Wednesdays, offering nutritious meals largely prepared by volunteers. Along with meals, fellowship, and community-building, guests had access to services such as haircuts, Bible study, prayer, legal aid, bike repairs, counseling, and assistance with transportation and laundry, as well as seasonal events and gift distributions. The ministry also engaged the broader community through outreach at the Davis Farmer’s Market. Leadership transitioned during the year, with Rev. Thomas Rand becoming Executive Director in October. Overall, Grace in Action support network of volunteers, churches, and donors helped sustain its mission of caring for the most vulnerable.
